Banco não inicia

Ola Galera!!

Meu banco não está iniciando!! está dando a seguinte mensagem de erro:

A connection could not be established to {Nome do Banco}

Reason: SQL Server inexistente ou acesso negado.

ConnectionOpen (Connect())...

Please verify SQL Server is runnung and check your SQL Server registration properties (by right-clicking on the {Nome do Banco} node and try again.

Está é a mensagem: tem alguma forma de eu recuperar isso ou tenho que salvar os data files e reinstalar o banco?
